You’ve worked hard to build something real—an organization or business that’s survived the startup chaos and is starting to run on its own. You’ve developed a successful model and built a team. But now, a new kind of challenge is showing up.
Maybe you’re finding it hard to let go and trust your team to meet your standards without constant oversight. Or maybe you’re stretched too thin, running into burnout, or navigating conflict between employees—or even family members involved in the business.
Lead Small Think Big exists to help you navigate the shift from survival mode to strategic leadership. We support small business and nonprofit leaders who have already done the hard work of building something—and are now being called to lead it differently.
This transition can be even harder than launching the business. It asks you to rethink your role, build systems of trust, manage family dynamics, care for yourself, and lead with clarity instead of control. Without a roadmap, this stage can feel overwhelming.
At Lead Small Think Big, we guide leaders through this evolution with insight, support, and practical tools. You’ll learn how to:
- Prioritize strategy over constant doing
- Build trust in your team
- Create a high-performing, values-based culture
- Prevent burnout—for you and others
- Clarify authority and reduce friction
- Develop both yourself and your people
Whether you’re facing a leadership identity crisis, growing team pains, or the strain of success—you’re not alone. This is where your next level of leadership begins.
About Me

I’m Justin Silverman, founder of Lead Small Think Big. I help small business and nonprofit leaders shift from overextended operators to confident, strategic leaders—so they can scale their impact without burning out or losing control.
I’ve spent over 20 years running multiple family businesses and five years serving as a public sector PR director. I’ve lived the pressure of trying to hold everything together, and I know what it takes to shift into a healthier, more effective leadership role.
I hold micro-credentials on leadership development and mindfulness fundamentals from Northern Kentucky University, giving me both real-world and research-backed tools to guide transformational growth.
Through coaching, consulting, and team development, I help leaders delegate with confidence, develop talent, and build organizations that thrive without losing their soul.
I believe small organizations are powerful engines of community wellbeing, innovation, and opportunity—and that thriving leadership is the key to unlocking their full impact.
Let’s talk about how your leadership can evolve with your business.
